ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION FOR THIS CARNIVAL CRUISE

 

  1. Valid Passport   - For this cruise, it is not required  by HIGHLY recommended.

 

**If you miss the boat,  get injured or sick while on the islands or need to fly home directly from any of the islands, you must have a passport to get back into the United States.  Entering the United States via AIR requires a VALID passport **

 

 

2. Government-Issued Birth Certificate AND an Unexpired Government-Issued Photo ID 
This option is only allowed for cruises beginning and ending in the same U.S port (Closed Loop Cruise) that do not visit Colombia or Greenland.     You must have a form of Citizenship and Photo Identification  in lieu of a passport.
 
Forms of Citizenship
 
1 .Birth Certificate

  • Guests may obtain a copy of a birth certificate by contacting: The Department of Health and Vital Statistics at: www.vitalchek.com
  • Original or copy of the original issued by a government agency (state/county/city) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics 
  • Must be clear and legible
  • Does not need to be notarized
  • f the guest has laminated their birth certificate, it is acceptable.

  • 2. Forms of Photo Identification (ID)
    An unexpired government-issued photo ID** is required of all guests 16 years of age and older. These may not be used as standalone travel documents. They must be used in conjunction with proof of citizenship such as a WHTI compliant document or a Birth Certificate.


NOT ACCEPTABLE FORM OF ID
** A Mobile/Digital version of a photo ID is not an acceptable form of identification.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF ID 

  • Driver’s License | REAL ID-Compliant Driver's License | State Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL) This is an acceptable form of Photo ID.
  • A Temporary Driver’s License with an affixed photo is acceptable for cruise travel.
  • A Driver's Permit is an acceptable form of Photo ID.
  •  Government-issued Identification Card (city/state/federal) | Non-Driver Identification Card. This is an acceptable form of Photo ID.
  • A U.S. Military ID with an affixed photo is an approved government-issued Photo ID. 
     
  • Current School/Student ID with picture
    This is an acceptable form of Photo ID for guests 16/17/18 years of age.

 

Unacceptable Forms of Documentation - Guests will be denied boarding

  • Copy of any WHTI compliant document
  • Driver’s License alone (without proof of citizenship)
  • A Mobile/Digital version of a photo ID (Driver's License, Identification Card, etc) is not an acceptable form of identification.
  • Temporary Driver’s License without an affixed photo
  • Hospital certificate, hospital-issued birth notice, live record of birth, Certificate of Live Birth or announcement of birth
  • No Record of Birth certificate: A certificate issued by the Department of Health and Vital Statistics showing that they have no records on this person
  • Voter’s Registration Card
  • Trusted Traveler Program Membership Card (NEXUS/SENTRI/FAST) alone; (may be used as photo ID)
  • Baptismal Papers
  • U.S. Military ID alone (without proof of citizenship; may be used as photo ID)
  • Dependent Military ID that is issued to a spouse or child
  • U.S. Military Discharge Papers

PRICING

Prices listed are per person double occupancy and include port charges and taxes.  Vacation protection fees and gratuities are not included. Those amounts are listed below.

 

Single Occupancy rates are double the published price plus taxes, fees and gratuities per person. Deposits and additional payments are also double the per person amount.

 

3rd/ 4th  person adults or kids sharing with two full paying adults are at a reduced rate. The rates include taxes and gratuities.

3rd/4th children (6 mo.-17) in a cabin with two full paying adults are the same rate as above per person plus  gratuities and registration fees.  Children will have reduced registration fees.

Hotels: We are working on securing a hotel for those arriving a day or two prior to sailing. Information regarding the host hotel with special rate will be coming shortly once we are able to secure a group block. 


GRATUITIES

You may pay this daily gratuity in two different ways:
 
Pre-Pay
Gratuities can be added at the time of booking or anytime up to the sail date. Contact your travel agent, to add pre-paid gratuities to the booking. Prepaid gratuities are reflected in the 'Miscellaneous Charge' field on the confirmation and in the guest’s E-Documents.
 
Sail & Sign® 
If a guest has not pre-paid the gratuities, the recommended per person amount will be posted to their Sail & Sign account on the second to last day of the cruise.  Should a guest not be satisfied with the service they receive, they can contact the Guest Services desk while on board. This will allow us to address their concerns in a timely and appropriate fashion. At the discretion of the guest, gratuities may be adjusted after they have been posted on the guest’s account, while on board.  Gratuities, as posted on a guest’s Sail and Sign account, will be considered final after a guest disembarks and no changes will be made after the cruise.
 
Additional information:

  • Gratuities are assessed on all guests, with the exception of children under the age of 2. 
  • Gratuities apply regardless of the dining options selected, such as eating at the casual dining restaurant or open seating dining.
  • For beverage purchases, an automatic 18% service charge will be added to the bill. 
  • An automatic18% service charge will be added to the cover charge for the Chef’s Table and Bonsai Teppanyaki as well as the nominal à la carte fee at Bonsai Sushi, Emeril’s Bistro, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse and Seafood Shack; additional gratuities can be added at the guest's discretion.
  • A gratuity may be extended to room service staff as service is rendered; for bar beverage purchases, an automatic 18% service charge will be added.

ALCOHOL

Drinking Alcohol On Board
The minimum age for the purchase and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the bars, lounges and gift shops is 21 years of age. In the event that Bar/Restaurant/Gift Shop Staff are in question that the guest is less than 21 years old, they shall request picture identification, prior to serving the drink or selling the bottle of liquor. Carnival reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic beverages to anyone. 

 

Bringing Liquor and Beverages On Board - Embarkation
Guests are prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages on board that are packaged in glass or plastic bottles.

A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought on board on embarkation day and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12-ounces/354-ml each or less per person.

 

Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board with the following exception - At the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day only, guests (21 years of age and older) may bring one 750-ml bottle of sealed/unopened wine or champagne per person in their carry-on luggage.* All liquor, beer, other forms of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages outside of this exception are strictly prohibited in both carry-on and checked luggage and such items will be confiscated and discarded and no compensation will be provided.
* Port, Vermouth, Sherry and other fortified wines cannot be brought on board.
